Cross-sectional survey of female volunteers in maritime search and rescue

Differences exist in the way men and women volunteer, the amount of time they spend, the types of work they do and their levels of responsibility. Volunteering can be highly segregated, therefore this database includes baseline data of 209 females volunteering in operational search and rescue (SAR) roles with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) collected using a cross-sectional online survey.
