Bacillus pumilus NDY-10, with a broad antibacterial spectrum on a variety of plant pathogens, was isolated from soil samples in a coal storage yard in Inner Mongolia, China. To exert the antagonistic effect of Bacillus pumilus on rice blast, the bacteriostatic properties and whole-genome analysis of B. pumilus NDY-10 were carried out.
