Instructions for the performance of outgassing tests for substitute raw materials for the determination of volatile organic compounds (VOC) content

This work instruction (1st edition) describes the execution of outgassing tests to determine the content of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). By means of an outgassing test, the processes during the preheating of the raw meal in the cement plant are simulated in the laboratory. The results provide indications of the appropriate feed location of the substitute raw material and the specific emission in the exhaust gas.
