Bering Strait Mooring Data - summer 2005 to summer 2006

Insitu, year-round data from subsurface moorings deployed in the eastern (US) channel of the Bering Strait from summer 2005 - summer 2006 (3 moorings). Moorings recorded lower layer water velocity, temperature and salinity ~ hourly. Some instruments also recorded fluorescence and turbidity. One upward looking Acoustic Data Current Profiler (ADCP) recorded water velocity at different levels in the east of the channel (i.e., in the Alaskan Coastal Current) and some measure of ice velocity and ice thickness. These deployments are part of 1-year NSF grant, PI R. Woodgate. Related data sets include concurrent mooring measurements in the other channel of the strait, various conductivity temperature density (CTD) data and other years of Bering Strait moorings, deployed almost continuously since 1990.
