Ludwigia peruviana, chloroplast genome

Ludwigia peruviana, a member of the Onagraceae family, is native to Central and South America. Despite its potential application in medicine and renewable energy, genetic information, particularly its chloroplast genome, remains limited. Therefore, we sequenced and characterized the complete chloroplast genome of Ludwigia peruviana to offer important reference for insights into the taxonomic and phylogenetic relationships of L. peruviana within Onagraceae and the genus Ludwigia.
