Es wird die stationäre tiefenpsychologisch fundierte Psychotherapie eines 12-jährigen Jungen dargestellt, der nach dem Tod seiner Mutter im 9. Lebensjahr eine Enkopresis entwickelt hatte. Ein zentraler Behandlungsfokus ist die Verleugnung dieses Verlustes und der Beginn eines Trauerprozesses. Die Operationalisierte Psychodynamische Diagnostik für Kinder und Jugendliche (OPD -KJ) wird für diesen Fall dargestellt.
