The experiment employed the MATB task, selecting visual flicker frequency (1Hz, 3Hz, 5Hz) and auditory tone frequency (1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz) as independent variables. task performance (reaction time, tracking error) and cognitive load (subjective NASA-TLX ratings, objective eye-tracking metrics) as dependent variables.
