Documents for review were retrieved on May 22, 2023, using Scopus database with the Boolean Query in the search function of Scopus: Title-Abstract-Keywords “connectivism”, with inclusion criteria set as follows: • Inclusion: dates: 2004 to present (May 22, 2023). • Inclusion: document type (journal article) • Inclusion: language: English After removing duplicates and removing unrelated documents following PRISMA guidelines, 161 documents were remained.
