To gain the new insights into the signaling pathways perturbed by 4-Hydroxybenzoic acid (4HBP) exposure in neural stem cells, we performed RNA-seq analysis in Hippocampus-derived primary NSCs. The NSCs were cultured under two conditions: proliferation and differentiation. In each condition, the cells were treated by 1µM 4HBP for 7 days as the treatment group and treated by EtOH (vehicle) as the control group. Overall design: Gene expression profiles of 1) three replicates of NSC samples cultured in proliferation medium and treated by 1µM 4-Hydroxybenzoic acid for 7 days; 2) three replicates of NSC samples cultured in proliferation medium and treated by EtOH for 7 days; 3) three replicates of NSC samples cultured in differentiation medium and treated by 1µM 4-Hydroxybenzoic acid for 7 days; 2) two replicates of NSC samples cultured in differentiation medium and treated by EtOH for 7 days.
