Import volume of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Germany 1995-2023

In 2023, Germany imported around 1.19 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG). This was a decrease compared to the year before. Figures had previously increased in recent years. Worldwide, the leading exporter of LNG was Qatar, followed by Australia.
