RNA-seq is a powerful tool to analysis differential expression of cellular pathways under different conditions. The goals of this study is to analysis the potential pathways involved in cellular defense against diabetes with or without FGF1 intervention. Overall design: The 10-week db/db mice were treated with or without FGF1 variant (0.5mg/kg) every other day for 16 weeks. Then, the cardiac tissues were harvested for RNA-Seq analysis.
