This series comprises summaries of the Coal Production Statistics recorded per fortnight per colliery by the Joint Coal Board. The summaries record national cumulative statistics on all aspects of coal production across all of Australia. The summaries include statistics on the number of persons employed in collieries across the Commonwealth, as well as the number of accidents and industrial disputes across the Commonwealth. In addition to the Commonwealth summaries there are summaries regarding all aspects of coal production for each colliery in Australia. The papers are organised into separate districts, with one section for the Commonwealth 'district' as a whole. The series is arranged chronologically.
