A Quantitative Database of Scenarios for the Southwestern Amazon
收藏资源简介:
We developed and applied a scenario framework to explore potential future trajectories of regional agricultural development through a transdisciplinary co-design process involving regional stakeholders and international scientists. The framework was implemented in the MAP region of the Southwestern Amazon, which encompasses three neighboring subnational entities: Madre de Dios (Peru), Acre (Brazil), and Pando (Bolivia). In this dataset, we present the raw data generated through the quantified scenario trajectories. These data offer a valuable foundation for impact assessments and model-based simulation experiments aimed at understanding agricultural development and related social-environmental impacts in the Southwestern Amazon. The scenario development process, along with the resulting data and interpretations, is described in detail in the original research article.
