The Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD) data were collected from
Peoples Republic of China (PRC) using two ships XIANG YANG HONG 05 and
XIANG YANG HONG 14 during six cruises. The data was collected from TOGA
Area, Pacific (30 N to 30 S). The data was collected over a three year
period spanning from January 30, 1986 to May 25, 1989 under the Tropical
Ocean Global Atmosphere project. Data was collected by Woods Hole
Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), Woods Hole MA. Originator's data
submitted by Dr. John Toole on two tapes has been processed by NODC and
is available in F022 CTD-Hi-Res file format.
