HFLAV results for tau mass, lifetime and branching fractions

HFLAV results for tau mass, lifetime and branching fractions through August 2024 The tau branching fractions are reported in two versions, one obtained with a common fit of the available measurements, and a second one with the same fit subjected to an additional unitarity constraint. Figure "tau-lept-univ-2023v1.pdf" reports the canonical tau lepton flavour universality test obtained with the non-unitarity-constrained branching fractions' fit results.
