Salt stress, high temperature and especially salt-heat co-stress seriously affect the yield and quality of wheat, but the molecular mechanisms of wheat against multiple stresses are still unknown. To investigate the response of wheat to the above three stresses at the transcriptional level, we used seedlings of Ningchun 4, China's No. 1 spring wheat variety, as materials for salt stress (SS), high temperature (HS), and salt-heat stress (SHS) treatments. High-throughput transcriptional expression profiling was performed using the Illumina Hiseq6000 sequencing platform, and the differences of some homologous genes in response to salt-heat stress were explored at the genome-wide level.
