Sequencing of wild-type and mutant strains of Yersinia enterocolitica

To identify the genes regulated by waaF in Yersinia enterocolitica, the transcriptome was conducted to determine the transcriptional profiles of the wild-type strain and waaF deletion mutant in the LBNS medium. Furthermore, phenotype validation, adhesion, invasion, and cell cytotoxicity assays were performed, based on the transcriptome sequencing results, to investigate the regulation of viability and pathogenicity by the waaF gene defect in Y. enterocolitica.
