<b>Project title</b>: PMACS-98<b>Grant Information:</b> AHA Grant 9TPA34910007, Regulatory role of pericardial macrophages in myocardial infarction<b>Project Description:</b>· Animal Model: Myocardial Infarction· Animal Age: 8-12 Weeks· Animal Sex: Male· Animal Strain: C57B6/J Lys<sup>Cre</sup>GATA6<sup>fl/fl</sup>· Number: 9 Mice· Groups: 4 mice receiving saline injections, 5 mice receiving macrophage injection· Experimental Conditions: Mice were given MI via LAD ligation. Simultaneously, mice were either given intrapericardial injections of saline or 50,000 cell trace violet-stained peritoneal macrophages harvested from WT B6 mice and sorted via MACS sorting columns.
