Divergent hydro-climatic pathways for landslides in a warming Mediterranean

This repository provides the complete dataset and analysis code for our research paper, "Divergent hydro-climatic pathways for landslides in a warming Mediterranean". The dataset consists of a curated landslide inventory that we have processed and integrated with multiple geospatial data layers, including land use, lithology, distance to roads, and a Digital Elevation Model (DEM). The accompanying code includes the Python scripts used to reproduce the core findings of the study, featuring implementations of the NOTEARS and LiNGAM causal inference algorithms and functions for the Principal Component (PC1) analysis.
