We compared LPS responses (5h) between preterm (<30 weeks) neonatal, term neonatal and adult human monocytes at the genome-wide transcriptome level. Overall design: Total RNA obtained from 8 preterm, 12 term and 12 adults samples (CD14-expressing cells by magnetic bead positive depletion) treated for 5h with LPS, with unstimulated control samples.
