资源简介:
Liming has been suggested as means to reduce the production of N2O by grassland soils, however there is an absence of multiyear system wide studies testing the affects of liming rates on greenhouse gas production, and both soil biotic and abiotic environments. This study used a field trial laid out in a randomised block design to investigate the effects of 4 different liming levels, chosen to change soil pH by 0, 0.5, 0.75 and 1 pH units. Greenhouse gas production, soil chemistry, above ground biomass and below ground eukaryotic and prokaryotic species composition were measured over 7 timepoints spanning two years.
