Geochemical, oxygen isotopic, and mineral age data of eclogite facies metapelites from the Sesia Zone (Western Alps, NW Italy)

Bulk geochemical analyses (XRF + LOI) of metapelites from the central Sesia Zone (Western Alps, NW Italy). Samples show eclogite facies assemblages and experienced re-hydration during Alpine subduction after previous de-hydration to granulite facies. The dataset shows that Sesia samples are derived from rocks related to Ivrea Zone granulites.

对西阿尔卑斯山脉西北部（意大利西北部）中部塞西亚区的片麻岩进行了大批量地球化学分析（X射线荧光光谱分析+质量损失法）。样本呈现榴辉岩相组合，并经历了在阿尔卑斯造山带俯冲作用过程中的再水化过程，此前曾经历从花岗岩相的脱水。该数据集表明，塞西亚样品源自与伊夫雷亚区花岗岩相关的岩石。
