Exploratory Analysis of Hydrologic Variability and Resilience Along the Logan River Observatory Transect
收藏资源简介:
In CEE 6660 Environmental and Hydrologic Data Analysis and Experimentation class this project building on prior project 1 analysis of Logan River Observatory (LRO) data, this study analyzes hydrologic variability and resilience along a longitudinal transect of the LRO using discharge and water temperature data. Exploratory data analysis techniques were applied to quantify flow variability, examine relationships between variables, and characterize hydrologic extremes. Results show strong seasonal structure, moderate inverse discharge temperature relationships, and distinct downstream attenuation of flow variability. Advanced methods including smoothing, flashiness metrics, and recession analysis provide insight into watershed response and resilience.
