Transcriptional profiling of Caco2 and SW480 CRC cells transfected with AURKA siRNA or a control (non-targeted) siRNA. Caco2 and SW480 both have a gain of chromosomal arm 20q, where the AURKA gene is located. The goal was to determine the effects of AURKA knock-down on global gene expression. Overall design: Two-condition experimental design: AURKA siRNA vs control (non-targeted) siRNA. Total number of samples: two transfected samples and two control samples (Caco2 and SW480 CRC cell lines). Two biological replicates were performed for each sample.
