Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired in the Gulf of Alaska and along the Aleutian Trench during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW0409 (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS2 Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW0409 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Nancy Kachel). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Sidescan, Swath Bathymetry, and Acoustic Backscatter data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.0. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (FOCI).
