<p>Picophytoplankton abundances from live samples were analyzed within 1-3 hrs on a Beckman-Coulter EPIC XL flow cytometer. Cell populations include <em>Synechococcus</em> and Photosynthetic Eukaryotes. Samples were collected on the MV1008 cruise in the Costa Rica Dome (CRD) region of the Eastern Tropical Pacific Ocean.</p>
