## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis dataset provides a 50m buffer of all streams contained within the Riparian Enhance Vegetation Index (EVI) interpretation of major streams in the Great Artesian Basin dataset (GUID: 156d3951-e4f3-4d34-89eb-23158604afbe).\n\n\n\nFrom source dataset: This dataset shows river reaches with riparian vegetation potentially intersecting shallow groundwater in the Great Artesian Basin (excluding the coastal areas and Cape York Peninsula).\n\n\n\nNo effort has been made to distinguish regulated (streams fed from upstream storage) and unregulated rivers and areas of irrigation.
