This dataset systematically records all the data on the characterization and evaluation of the chemical chain methane hydrogen production performance of Fe ₂ O3/Al ₂ O3 oxygen carriers modified with Cu, La, and Ce additives. The origin in the dataset includes the format of the data list and corresponding graph, while the PPT contains summary graphs, schematic diagrams, process diagrams, and combined SEM images. The characterization data of materials are obtained through various analytical instruments: Use an X-ray diffractometer (XRD, operating parameters 40kV/40mA) to scan and obtain crystal structure information in a 2 θ range of 10 ° to 90 ° with a step size of 0.05 °; Use Jade to analyze the obtained data and import it into Origin for plotting. Observing the microstructure and elemental distribution of the sample through scanning electron microscopy (SEM) combined with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX); Draw the spectrum of element content using Origin, and combine SEM images using PPT. Using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to analyze the chemical state of surface elements, all binding energies were calibrated with a C1s peak at 284.8 eV; Using Avantage to perform peak fitting on XPS data, import the data into Origin for plotting. Hydrogen temperature programmed reduction (H ₂ - TPR) and temperature programmed oxidation (O ₂ - TPO) tests were conducted using a chemical adsorption apparatus to evaluate the reduction performance and carbon deposition characteristics of the samples. The heating rate was 10 ℃/min, and the gas product changes were monitored by mass spectrometry. Import the obtained data directly into Origin for plotting. The reaction performance data comes from a fixed bed reaction evaluation system: at a constant temperature of 800 ℃, four types of oxygen carriers were tested in one and ten cycles, and the concentration changes of CH ₄, CO, CO ₂, H ₂, and O2 during the three stages of methane reduction, hydrogen production, and anhydrous air oxidation of the oxygen carriers were recorded in real time. Based on these data, key performance indicators such as oxygen loss, CH ₄ conversion rate, synthesis gas production, H ₂ production, and H ₂ purity were calculated. In all the table data in the origin, the first column represents time (s), the second column represents time (min), and the following columns represent the concentration of each gas, all of which have corresponding labels. The data for methane programmed heating comes from a fixed bed reaction evaluation system: the temperature is raised to 950 ° C at a heating rate of 5 °/min. The initial recorded temperatures for the four oxygen carriers are different, with two oxygen carriers recorded at around 200 ° C. This is because the oxygen carriers did not react before 200 ° C, so they were heated to 200 ° C for recording.
