Ring Oscillator Measurements for Long-term Study of Propagation Delay

This dataset contains measurements performed with ring oscillator sensors on FPGA-based electronic devices that operate as part of the low-level RF system in the European XFEL particle accelerator. The studied devices are Xilinx Virtex-6 XC6VLX130T FPGAs with speed grade -2. Measurements were performed at two consecutive machine shutdowns: December 2023 (ro_measurements_winter_shutdown_2023.parquet), June 2024 (ro_measurements_summer_shutdown_2024.parquet).On both shutdown, each ring oscillator was measured 100 times, by letting it oscillate for 500 milliseconds.FormatFiles are in parquet format. The columns are:host: MicroTCA crate that contains the devicedevice_number: Device within the MicroTCA crate (host)id_number: ID of the ring oscillator within the device_numbercounts: Amount of oscillations of the ring oscillator measured in 500 milliseconds.
