RNA-Seq analysis of the T3SA regulon in Shigella flexneri reveals two new chromosomal genes upregulated in the on-state

Transcriptional program of a WT and ipaD strain of Shigella flexneri modeling the off- and on-state of the T3SA in vitro were compared by RNA-Seq Overall design: RNA-Seq of total RNA obtained from two strains of the human bacterial pathogen Shigella flexeneri whose T3SA is blocked in the off-state and on-state in vitro.
