Genetic Structure and Evolution of Fall Armyworm Populations in China

This study aims to analyze the genetic structure and evolutionary patterns of the fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) in China, utilizing 38 collected samples. By examining genetic diversity and population structure, the research seeks to uncover potential regional variations and migration dynamics within China, contributing to a better understanding of the pest's adaptation strategies and invasion pathways. The findings will provide valuable insights for developing targeted management strategies and monitoring the spread of this agricultural pest across different regions, thereby supporting efforts to minimize its impact on crops.
