In this study we investigated changes in gene expression induced by HDAC4 and RAS in BJ/hTERT LT/ST cells, 48h after the seeding. The goal of the experiment is: a) to find a common signature of transformation between RAS and HDAC4 over-expressing cells; b) to find the peculiarities of the two oncogenic responses. Gene expression profiles of BJ/hTERT LT/ST HDAC4/TM and RAS cells are compared to the profiles of HYGRO cells. For each sample two replicates have been done. Cells were infected with the respective retrovirus (pWZL-HYGRO, HDAC4/TM AND HRAS G12V), selected and check for protein expression. 14 days after the infection, two independent cultures of each polyclonal population were harvested and seeded for RNA extraction. RNA was collected 48h after the seeding from 1*10^6 cells.
