Municipal water quality in South Africa (based on Blue Drop report 2023)

This dataset assesses municipal water quality based on the municipal Blue Drop scores for 2014 and 2023, as well as the 2023 municipal compliance scores of microbiological, chemical acute health and chemical chronic health indicators and the 2023 population numbers. This dataset was created as part of a research project on spatial inequality in Water-Energy-Food (WEF) security in South Africa, the implications on public health and the impacts of climate change.
