Dataset description   This dataset contains meteorological and solar irradiance measurements collected at the TalTech meteorological station from January 1 to August 31, 2025. The dataset includes continuous records of direct, diffuse, and global solar irradiance, as well as key meteorological parameters such as air temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind speed and direction, and atmospheric pressure. Data were logged at high temporal resolution and stored in formats suitable for further scientific analysis.   Measurement equipment   SOLYS2 Sun Tracker and WS600-UMB Smart Weather Sensor Fully automatic two-axis sun tracker with GPS positioning and capacity for mounting multiple radiometers. Operates in a wide temperature range and supports Ethernet connectivity for monitoring. SHP1 Pyrheliometer Measures direct solar irradiance (DNI) with temperature correction and improved response time. Low-power operation ensures long-term accuracy. Two SMP10 Pyranometers Class A pyranometers measuring global (GHI) and diffuse (DHI) solar irradiance, equipped with Modbus® interface, amplified analog output, and CVF4 ventilation unit for reduced maintenance. WS600-UMB Smart Weather Sensor All-in-one device measuring air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, air pressure, and precipitation type, intensity, and amount. OTT netDL 1000 IP Data Logger Designed for meteorological stations, supporting multiple sensor interfaces and redundant communication protocols. Ensures secure data storage and real-time transfer. OTT Hydras 3 net Software Used for data acquisition, processing, visualization, and network management of meteorological measurements. Provides structured time-series database for reliable long-term storage.     Data availability   The dataset is intended for research and educational purposes. Measurements are available in standardized formats (.xlsx) and can be used for analysis of solar energy potential, climate studies, and validation of simulation models.
