Chinese Intelligent Construction Policy Texts, Policy Instrument Labels and Quantitative Indicators, 2020–2026

This dataset contains 6,552 intelligent construction policy documents issued in China from 2020 to 2026. It includes policy metadata, cleaned policy texts, manual labels, BERT-based model predictions, policy intensity indicators, policy activity indicators, summary statistics and variable definitions. The dataset covers national, provincial and municipal policy documents collected from official government websites and housing and urban-rural development authorities. The policy texts are related to intelligent construction, building industrialization, prefabricated construction, BIM/CIM, smart construction sites, construction robots, digital design, green construction and pilot demonstration projects. The data files are provided in both .xlsx and .csv formats. Each policy record is linked by a unique policy_id, which allows users to connect the policy inventory, manual labels, model predictions, policy intensity index and policy activity index. Source URLs, publication dates, issuing agencies and access dates are retained for traceability. This dataset can be used for policy evolution analysis, regional comparison, policy instrument analysis, policy intensity measurement and Chinese policy text classification.
