We established a cambium meristem cell line and a callus tissue, i.e., a dedifferentiated cell line, by inducing wild 5-year-old Panax quinquefolius L. root and culturing them in vitro, and used transcriptome analysis to elucidate the biosynthesis mechanism of ginsenosides in both cell lines.
