资源简介:
Growing season temperature variability in Malawi (2016–2017) This raster structure data set depicts within-season land surface temperature variability trends in Malawi for the 2016–2017 growing season (November–April), categorized based on time-series observations from the NASA MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer, MOD11A2 V006). Outlier values were removed using Tukey’s interquartile range algorithm and subsequently interpolated using inverse distance weighting. The classifications were generated using the Jenks natural breaks algorithm to identify areas of low, medium, or high temperatures (relative to observations under this spatiotemporal scale) and fluctuation in temperature over time (stable or variable). The resulting six classifications are low-stable (1), low-variable (2), medium-stable (3), medium-variable (4), high-stable (5), and high-variable (6). Data presented are masked to agricultural land.
