The project aims to elucidate the mechanism for hormone therapy resistance of estrogen receptor (ER) positive breast cancer mediated by lincRNA Eleanors. The human ER positive breast cancer cell lines MCF7, MCF7-LTED (MCF7 cells after long term estrogen deprivation), HCC1428 and HCC1428-LTED (HCC1428 cells after long term estrogen deprivation) were used in this study. To identify genomic regions associated with Eleanors, ChIRP (Chromatin Isolation by RNA Purification)-Seq analyses were performed.
