A targeted metabarcoding approach for the detection of vector-borne filarial worm pathogens was used on blood-extracted DNA samples from Cambodian dogs. Five study sites across Cambodia (Phnom Penh, Tbong Khmum, Kampong Chhnang, Siem Reap and Battambang) were investigated with relevant metadata also collected.
