HFNet Demonstration Dataset
收藏资源简介:
Sample dataset for training and testing the HFNet model for high-frequency sea-level prediction at the Bakar tide-gauge station (Adriatic Sea). This dataset is provided to demonstrate the HFNet workflow and to enable testing of the accompanying code available on GitHub. It contains only a subset of the data used in the study, covering the period January–November 2025. The dataset contains sea-level and meteorological data prepared in the format required by the HFNet model. Sea-level data were obtained from the Bakar tide-gauge station, while meteorological data were extracted from the ERA5 reanalysis over the Adriatic region (12–20.875°E, 39–45.875°N). All input variables were normalized independently by subtracting the mean and dividing by the standard deviation. For each input variable, the mean and standard deviation were calculated over the entire training dataset used in the study, across all spatial and temporal positions. The original sea-level observations are publicly available through the IOC database and are provided by the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, which operates and maintains the Bakar tide-gauge station. The original meteorological data were obtained from the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) Climate Data Store (CDS), specifically from the ERA5 hourly data on single levels from 1940 to present (DOI: 10.24381/cds.adbb2d47) and the ERA5 hourly data on pressure levels from 1940 to present (DOI: 10.24381/cds.bd0915c6).
