Davis to Law Cairn survey of natural surface levels, hand auger pits, hand dug pits, piezo tubes, seismic lines and centre line surveys for proposed runway.

The purpose of the survey was to check accuracy of existing survey control and install new survey control as necessary and then determine the location and elevation of all: 1. Hand auger pits, hand dug pits, seismic lines, drill holes, centre lines of proposed runways, old pits, tracks,2. Topographic features such as seasonal lakes, coastline, bedrock boundaries, natural surface levels, break lines in rock outcrops, ice wedges,3. Ecotox sampling sites and4. Sufficient natural surface levels to bed down the ICECAP LIDAR data to create a Digital Elevation Model for the area of survey.This project was part of the Year Round Aviation Access (YRAA) program, which was later replaced by the Davis Aerodrome Project (DAP).
