CFOSAT_SWIM_tracking

This is the dataset supporting the manuscript: Propagation and Dissipation of Southern Ocean Swells: A CFOSAT SWIM-Based Analysis. It includes the MATLAB program Fig_10 (including plotting scripts) for the error analysis presented in Figure 10 together with its input data file result.mat, 25 groups of tracked swell trajectories stored in Tracks_selected (each trajectory comprises the swell trajectories after backtracking and forward tracking, the corresponding NDBC buoy observations, the backtracked SWIM data points, and the storm source information), as well as the MATLAB program Swell_dissipation_Calculation for computing the swell dissipation rate and attenuation rate.
