The objective of this study was to find or discover novel antimicrobial compounds producing new bacterial species. We recently found novel antifungal chemicals (2,4-diacetylphloroglucinol, hydrogen cyanide, and brabantamide A, among others) produced by the Pseudomonas sp. nov. strain ABY48, which was sourced from the Sultansazligi province in Kayseri, Turkiye. The protologger examination indicated that this genome was associated with a novel Pseudomonas species. We believe that this genome will contribute to the taxonomy of Pseudomonas and the research of antifungal products.
