VPRS 3270 Staff Personal Files

Personal files were created by the Victoria Institute of Colleges (VA 571) to maintain, in consolidated form for each of its employees, the various records created during administration of the personnel function. Responsibility for all aspects of this function rested with the Institute. The records provided evidence of employee and employer rights and obligations.Records include:Applications, interviewers reports and candidate information sheets;Notifications of appointment (including salary details);Notifications of changes to salary;Letters of resignation;Leave forms (sometimes);Position descriptions (sometimes);Extracts from minutes of the Institutes Finance and Administration Committee noting appointments, resignations, and so forth;Correspondence relating to various personnel matters.
