A photograph of Monahan's Restaurant, 208 East Fifth Street, Los Angeles, California, USA, circa 1905. The image shows a rectangular area of a bar and stools. There are five persons behind the bar and cash register, including one wearing a hat and suit, perhaps the owner. A half-dozen people are seated around the bar. There are portions of a few tables notable at the edges of the image. There is an ink inscription on the reverse giving the name and address of the establishment. With a severe vertical crease that has associated tears, stains and, perhaps, bad exposure, with other creases and soiling to the mount, the condition is poor.
