Solid Waste Sites

This data shows locations of solid waste sites in Alaska through two datasets: Solid Waste Site Boundaries and Solid Waste Sites. The Solid Waste Site Boundaries layer shows hand-drawn approximate boundaries of solid waste sites (landfills) based on records by the ADEC Solid Waste Program and available imagery. The boundaries can indicate the waste boundaries (as for closed sites) or the physical boundaries (as for active sites).
