DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN VISUALLY IMPAIRED PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

This thesis examines the development of communicative competence among visually impaired primary school students. Communicative competence is considered an essential factor in academic achievement, social adaptation, and personal development. The study explores the specific challenges faced by visually impaired learners in communication and identifies effective pedagogical approaches for enhancing their communicative skills. Particular attention is given to interactive teaching methods, cooperative learning, role-playing activities, auditory learning resources, inclusive educational environments, and assistive technologies. The findings suggest that a comprehensive educational approach involving teachers, families, and inclusive practices contributes significantly to the development of communication skills and social participation. The study concludes that fostering communicative competence is a key condition for the successful integration and independent development of visually impaired students.
