资源简介:

This dataset contains files of post processed surface ozone concentrations calculated as the ozone season daily maximum 8-hour mixing ratio from model output data obtained from the histSST AerChemMIP model experiment and also different sensitivity experiments historical period. Data was obtained from the histSST model experiments conducted by EC-Earth3-AerChem, GFDL-ESM4 and UKESM1-0-LL., over the period 1850 to 2015. Data from additional experiments were obtained from UKESM1 to investigate the sensitivity of surface ozone to different drivers over the historical period including changes in anthropogenic precursor emissions, stratospheric ozone, aerosols and climate. The atmosphere only CMIP6 configuration of all models were used to in this set of experiments. Model simulations were conducted at a global resolution of >100km for all models. This coarse resolution has required the correction of model simualed ozone concentrations against a present day observationally based dataset. These biased correct concentrations were then used to assess the impact of different drivers of change on the ozone health burden by calculating the attributable fraction metric. Outputs provided in the dataset include 10 year means of the gridded ozone season daily maximum 8-hour mixing ratio concentrations (OSDMA8 - both bias corrected and uncorrected values are supplied) and the attributable fraction (AF) in response to long-term exposure to O3 for different sensitivity scenarios. Regional mean values of both OSDMA8 (ppb) and AF have been also been provided. In addition, the values for the historical changes in ozone precusors have been supplied for total column ozone burdens (DU), global CH4 concentrations (ppb) and emissions (Tg/yr) for SO2, OC, BC, CO, NOx, and NMVOCs. Furthermore, the annual mean surface temperature anomaly (K), relative to the 1850-1900 mean, simulated by UKESM1 over the historical period is also provided. Further details can be found in the accompanying publication that uses the data.
