Murine Brain Slice Culture for 12 and 24 hours -- Observational analysis of Endothelial Cell Tight Junction Remodeling over Time in aCSF Culture

Observational study to visualize potential morphological and density changes in Zona Occludins-1 (ZO-1, green) localization at the interface between endothelial cells labeled for Platelet-Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule-1 (PECAM-1/CD31, blue) and pericytes (red) labeled by DsRed or Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor-beta (PDGFRb/CD140) within murine cerebrovasculature from a WT or an Ng2/Cspg4:DsRed/+ animal. DAPI labeled cell nuclei (white in merged image). Images were acquired from slices collected immediately after euthanasia (0-hrs in culture), 12-hours in aCSF culture, or 24-hours in aCSF culture conditions.
