资源简介:
This dataset is the original data for heat tolerance validation of 30 genotype selected from controlled environment screening at UWA at multiple field sites. The heat tolerant genotypes that are validated in multi-environmental field trials in both 2020 and 2021 will be available to Australian canola breeders. At our first project annual meeting on 30/08/2019 at Wagga Wagga, and in subsequent video conference meetings, protocols for heat stress field trials were established after extensive consultation with all project partners and biometrics experts in SAGI-West. Selected lines showing different heat tolerance under controlled environment conditions are validated at multiple field sites that are heat prone but with regular irrigation to avoid the confounding effects of drought stress. Multiple sequential times of sowing (TOS) to ensure the canola plants will be subjected to normal temperature and high temperature at flowering stage. In 2020, the heat tolerance of 30 genotypes with 5 times of sowing and 2 replicates was validated in field trials at Narrabri and Leeton, NSW, and with 2 times of sowing at Merredin, WA. In 2021, the heat tolerance of 24 out of 30 genotypes with 5 times of sowing and 2 replicates was validated in 4 national sites: Condobolin and Leeton, NSW, Kerang VIC and Dongara, WA. The goal was to model the measured plot yield, above ground biomass and harvest index in each genotype across TOS and across temperature during first week of 50% flowering in each plot. The field trials were designed and analysed by SAGI West.
